Since I graduated from the Graphic Design career (FADU - UBA) at the beginning of the 90s, I had the happiness of working with undisputed references: those priests or teachers who come
to our memory when we evoke those years of university life. And I began to walk the professional path with fellow travelers who today are references in local, continental and international design.
Always attentive to what was happening in the various instances of a designer's work (in a pre-internet era, let's say), over the years I did not lose my curiosity about what was produced in the country, as well as what the new generations came to contribute as new to the activity.
So this book was a challenge. And like any selection or anthology of works, it can also be considered a whim. But the absences, which can always be underlined, are well represented by designers or studios that account of certain interest, of the possible drifts that the design can assume.
It is not a single list of names. It is a catalog of works that have inspired me and that, I have no doubt, will inspire others.
Are they the best at their thing? Most likely.
